📊 WEEKLY LEADERBOARD POINT ENTRY FEE UPDATE

We’ve made a small but important change to the Weekly Leaderboard System to improve fairness and balance for everyone competing for prize money.

Starting this weekend, the entry fee for Weekly Leaderboard matches has been standardized for all players.

⚖️ NEW POINT COST

All players will now receive the same -40 entry fee per match.

Previously, entry costs varied depending on certain factors, which created situations where some players were paying different entry costs for the same leaderboard.

By equalizing the entry fee across the board, we ensure that everyone is competing under the same conditions when it comes to earning weekly points.

💰 WHY THIS CHANGE?

The Weekly Leaderboard directly determines cash payouts, so it’s important that the system is as fair and competitive as possible.

Standardizing the entry fee helps:

• Create equal risk for every player
• Keep the leaderboard competitive and fair
• Ensure payouts reflect actual performance in matches

This change does not affect MMR and only applies to weekly leaderboard point calculations.

We’ll continue monitoring the system and making adjustments if needed to keep SQL as competitive and fair as possible.
